Your Trusted Mindfulness Instructor
Sara Whatley is a trained and certified mindfulness teacher and coach. She qualified as a Mindfulness-Based Intervention Practitioner from Sussex Mindfulness Centre, which in practice means Sara can adapt her knowledge and teaching to any different group, setting and individual she is working with.
Sara teaches mindfulness in an embodied and supportive manner, and is particularly aware of trauma sensitivity. Sara is warm and intuitive and you can expect a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere when you work with her.
Personally, Sara maintains a regular mindfulness meditation practice along with yoga and exercise. She deepens her practice by attending regular retreats. Nature is very important to Sara and she spends as much time as possible in the garden, walking in the forest and spending time outside.
Sara is also an editor and writer and has published a book of therapeutic short stories for children with co-author Dr Angela Evans, Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist - Therapeutic Stories for Traumatised Children and Young People, available on Amazon.
Sara adheres to the Good Practice Guidelines of the British Association for Mindfulness Based Approaches, and is appropriately insured and supervised.
